Status Titles - beyond the first rating
The RBHA has many levels of grading "classes" or titles in which a horse may achieve to show it's breeding value. This ranges from the preliminary Studbook Inspection held either annually or bi-annually, where any breeding horse may apply to be graded and entered into one of four studbook classes, to the more valued Elite and Premium Status, where horses must meet a much higher requirement to be classified under that studbook. Titled horses also earn a star in the Star Program. A maximum of 6 horses may be applied per owner per inspection period.
Listed below are the level titles available to be applied for, and how to apply:

Class I-IV Studbook (stallion and mare)
The Studbook Inspection is the beginning of a horses' road to recognition in the RBHA. Owners must be registered with the RBHA in order for horses to be eligible for inspection, and breeding horses will be inspected according to a given criteria. They will be rated into classes according to their total point scores. Depending on their scores, studbook approved horses may be eligible for more prestigious titles, which gives them more value as a breeding horse, and entitles them to other privileges offered by the RBHA in the future. Studbook horses who have been previously inspected with a rating of Class II or above are eligible to be applied for Grade A or Elite status for stallions, Merit, Premium or Elite status for mare, depending on their grades. The criteria for earning these statuses are much stricter, and only a limited number of approved horses who have proven themselves are eligible to hold these titles. However, titled horses are more recognised for their value as a breeding horse, and are entitled to special classes and events that will be held by the RBHA in the future.
